How lessons work

    Choose your path

    Pick the string that matches where you are. Not sure? Start with Foundations and we'll adjust after your first lesson.

  2. Fret 02

    Book a time

    Choose a day and time that suits you, Monday to Saturday. Your slot is held for you every week.

  3. Fret 03

    Your first lesson

    We look at where you are, what you want to play, and set clear goals for the months ahead.

  4. Fret 04

    Practise with a plan

    After every lesson you get a short practice plan, so the week between lessons really counts.

  5. Fret 05

    Play the songs you love

    Technique always serves the music. Every path builds toward songs you choose.

I've never played before. Is that okay?

Completely. Foundations starts from how to hold the guitar and your first chord. Most beginners are playing simple songs within the first few weeks.

Do I need my own guitar?

It helps to have one to practise on between lessons. If you're not sure what to buy, ask in your first lesson and we'll point you in the right direction.

How long is each lesson?

Lessons are weekly and an hour long. Your monthly price covers every lesson in the month, plus a practice plan after each one.

Can I switch paths later?

Any time. Paths are a starting point, not a contract. If you'd be happier on a different string, we'll move you across.

Acoustic or electric?

Lessons are taught on acoustic guitar. Almost everything you learn carries straight over to electric if you switch later.

What if I need to miss a lesson?

Let us know at least 24 hours before and we'll move it to another time that week or the next.
